Job Summary

The US Pursuit Center Manager is responsible for leading the pursuit engagement team and developing strategies that align with organizational goals. The role oversees proposal creation, leads contract negotiations, and maintains positive client relationships while tracking progress and identifying improvement areas.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute pursuit strategies aligned with organization goals, incorporating market trends and client needs.
  • Oversee the creation of tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding and analyzing client requirements to ensure alignment with organization capabilities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms and conditions meet both client expectations and the organization’s objectives.
  • Manage a team of pursuit engagement representatives, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering professional growth.
  • Coordinate communication efforts, including client interactions, sales meetings, and internal updates.
  • Monitor pursuit progress, measure KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement, implement best practices, and refine pursuit strategies based on feedback.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance skills, product knowledge, and negotiation abilities.
  • Conduct performance assessments, provide feedback, and contribute to career development plans for team members.
Education & Experience
  • Four‑year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 7‑10 years of job‑related experience or 5‑7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business development, or related field.
