Mottu Mexico Trainee - Monterey

We are looking for a recent graduate (up to 2 years after graduation) to be a central part of our Mexican operation as we are accelerating our business in the country. You will work alongside our leaders handling everything from finance to operational tasks, as we embark on the journey of scaling Mottu in Mexico.

Mottu is a Brazilian startup founded in 2020 with the mission of transforming lives through asset-backed credit for the underserved. Mottu is revolutionizing urban mobility by offering motorcycle rental and rent-to-own plans, making vehicle ownership accessible to those previously excluded. Mottu has more than 150,000 motorcycles rented, with +150 branches across Brazil and Mexico.

Our rental plan offers complete services such as maintenance, roadside assistance, and insurance, all included. Backed by top-tier VC’s such as Bicycle Capital, QED Investors and Michael Moritz, the company launched the Mexican operation in 2023 and today has more than 8,000 motorcycles rented in the country.

About the role

As an Operations Trainee, you will be embedded in one of Mottu’s branches, working on the front lines to ensure operational efficiency, drive performance improvements, and support the implementation of key initiatives from Headquarters. Acting as the right hand of the City Manager, you will play a hands-on role in daily operations while applying strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.

During the first months, you will gain deep, practical exposure to our operations. Based on this experience, you may progress to our Ciudad de México Headquarters as a Trainee, leveraging your frontline understanding to contribute to strategic projects and company-wide initiatives.

About you

• Graduated in Business, Economics or Engineering between 2023 to 2025.
• Self-directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptability to work in multiple projects simultaneously and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility.
