Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering and 1-5 years of quality inspection experience. Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspection activities related to aeronautical assemblies.
  • Review Engineering requirements and preliminary investigations.
  • Raise Non-conformance reports, analyze repetitive issues, and provide feedback to Production and Methods from Non-Conformity Documentation.
  • Approve disposition at appropriate stage per Quality MRB role.
  • Lead and coordinate the team to develop corrective and preventive actions for major issues on nonconforming reports.
  • Perform stock purge documentation, analyze offenders per supplier, report and evaluate findings, and coordinate with Quality inter-site follow-up for corrective actions.
  • Execute FAI requirements and provide pass/fail information to the appropriate function for inspection and verification.
  • Follow up KPI (key performance indicators) of PV stamps per area.
  • Support customer queries and concerns investigations; monitor product for recurrence of issues (CPN, CAB).
  • Create conformity packages of built records and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Certify product when conformity is processed.
  • Coach and select the team to handle equipment for measurements on the shopfloor related to the appropriate process inspection.
Skills, knowledge & experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or college degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanic Engineering
  • 1 to 5 years experience as quality inspector, preferably for aeronautical assemblies
  • 1 to 5 years experience managing GD&T, quality tools, Lean Manufacturing practices (Six Sigma, Green Belt)
  • Intermediate English level
  • Office 365 knowledge and intermediate to advanced Excel
