Job Overview
The Technical Specialist I, Textile Exchange LATAM provides auditing and technical support to technical managers and program staff. The primary responsibility in this role is on-site and remote auditing of clients on standards owned by Textile Exchange, including Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), and Content Claim Standard (CCS). This includes audit planning, arranging travel, submitting timely audit reports, and responding to technical reviews promptly. Additional tasks may include support on program quality documents and participation in internal and accreditation audits.
Approximately 85% of the time will be spent auditing clients to the Textile Exchange standards, and approximately 15% (up to 50%) of the time will be spent supporting the Recycled Content Certification (RCC) program. The Recycled Content standard is developed and owned by the SCS Standard Development Organization. The overarching goal in this position is to successfully deliver certification services to SCS clients to allow them to leverage their certified products in the market, confirm both voluntary and regulatory requirements, and meet brand/retailer environmental and sustainability performance criteria.

Working Remotely
