Reporting to Engineering Manager, you as a Sustaining Engineer, will be responsible for maintain and enhance existing products, systems, or processes. The primary objective is to ensure the continued functionality, reliability, and improvement of products throughout their lifecycle.

About the job:
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates options and makes re-design recommendations for product development or enhancement.

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates
    results.

  • Prepares reports and technical specifications.
    Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements.

  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes, from conception to commissioning and certification.

  • Evaluate processes, take measurements, and interpret data.

  • Design, execute, test, and update systems and processes.

  • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.

  • Establish and maintain engineering processes, standards, and best practices for sustaining activities.

  • Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

About you:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Master’s or PhD preferred but not required.

  • Prior experience in process or product engineering within the manufacturing, electronics, or automotive industries.

  • Proficiency in design software: Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

  • Project management knowledge is desirable.
