A global packaging provider in Querétaro, México is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong leader with a background in production processes, quality control, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 3-5 years of experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role. Overview

What You\'ll Be Doing

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, overseeing daily activities of production workers, guiding and training as needed, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring quality control procedures are followed to meet company and industry standards. Identify opportunities to improve production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations. Enforce safety protocols and maintain accurate records of production activities such as output and downtime.

This position is in our Quéretaro, México RPC Plant

Responsibilities

• Keeping yourself and your work team safe.
• Oversee the daily activities of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth production operations.
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Prefer bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or business) is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
• Familiarity with production equipment and processes, as well as knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
