A leading fintech company in Mexico City is seeking a Finance Analyst who will leverage advanced finance knowledge to drive data analysis and support decision-making processes. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, improving business models, and developing data-driven forecasting models. Candidates should possess over three years of relevant experience, advanced skills in Excel and SQL, and strong analytical abilities. This role offers a regular working schedule and a chance to contribute to innovative financial solutions.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a finance, planning or data department.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the finance/planning area at a bank, fintech or tech company.
• Has advanced knowledge in Excel, MS Power BI, SQL (R and Python is a plus).

Someone who has advanced finance knowledge, likes to work with numbers and is quantitative, and who understands banking, financial institutions and / or fintechs.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for :

Key Responsibilities and Duties :

• Data analysis for decision-making.
• Identify areas of opportunities in Finance processes, proposing solutions and their resources.
• Support in creating, updating and improving business models.

Experience :

2+ years of experience in a finance, planning or data department.

Requirements :

• Graduated in Finance, Economy, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Business Administration
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the finance / planning area at a bank, fintech or tech company
• Understands Unit Economics and the life cycle of a Credit Card
• Understands financial statements of banking institutions and is familiar with accounting
• Understands how to build and control budgets (Opex and Capex)
• Has advanced knowledge in Excel, MS Power BI, SQL (R and Python is a plus)
• Has a curious and analytical mentality
• Capacity to work under pressure and resolve challenging quantitative conflicts
• Pay attention to detail
• Produces high quality work
• MBA or master degree is a plus
