• 6+ años de experiencia escribiendo código de producción en desarrollo de productos de software.
• Comprensión sólida de patrones de diseño de software y mejores prácticas en arquitectura frontend.
• Capacidad de trabajar en horas de la zona horaria del Pacífico.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar características que optimicen los productos y la plataforma de Sureify.
• Construir software de calidad de producción que forme parte de los productos y plataformas centrales de Sureify.
• Colaborar en un equipo ágil con otros ingenieros de software y un gerente de producto.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a talented and results-oriented Software Engineer to work remotely as a key member, expanding engineering team. You'll help build and evolve our next-generation cloud-based compute platform for digitally-delivered life insurance. This is your opportunity to make a large impact at a high-growth enterprise software company in the life insurance space.

You'll collaborate with other developers and a product manager to build software in support of a suite of business applications and their worldwide delivery teams, all of whom count on a high-performance, reliable, extensible backend.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work on the development of features that optimize Sureify's main products and platform.
• Build production-quality software that will be part of Sureify's core products and platform.
• Work in an agile team, closely collaborating with other software engineers and a product manager.
• Work in a remote environment.

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience writing production‑quality code, ideally on core software product development (not only professional services or implementation projects).
• Strong proficiency with React and solid experience with NodeJS.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in frontend architecture.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development.
• Comfortable working in Pacific Time Zone hours as needed.
• Upper‑Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience developing production code using Typescript.
• Familiarity with Orchestration Platforms.
