Job Overview

Monitors the shift activities for skilled trade employees on assigned shifts, including facility and manufacturing equipment.

Job Requirements
  • Managing the dispersal and distribution of materials for production; maintaining labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.
  • Reviewing the departmental operating procedures, ensuring timely completion of work orders in line with department procedures, removing obstacles, and streamlining operational efficiency.
  • Performing audits periodically, maintaining the production activity throughout the particular shift, and enforcing the plant procedures and policies.
  • Monitoring the safety initiatives, monthly training, mock drills, and ensuring compliance with the occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) guidelines.
What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
