Job Specifics

This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts: weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts, and the ability to work overtime during peak season and as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
  • Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high and business objectives are met across all shifts.
  • Support and lead a team and handle administrative work while building and sustaining a strong team culture.
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
  • Promote best practices and continuous process improvements across your team in areas such as health, safety, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
A Day in the Life

You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site while monitoring and maintaining process efficiency. Your days will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, along with individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide‑scale operational contingency planning. As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to keep us on track to meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area and discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third‑party distribution businesses. We use creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers, aiming to make the delivery experience as smooth as possible. Our goal is to roll out global delivery solutions for new concepts such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.

We operate from two sides: ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams, and ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex – the delivery contractor network. We continually raise the bar for customer experience with innovative delivery services, reducing our carbon footprint through electric vehicles and advanced technology.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Spanish and English (Advanced).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
