Key Responsibilities
Analytical Chemistry & Data Generation
  • Perform fragrance extraction from consumer products using diverse techniques.
  • Conduct GC/MS for fragrance profiling and raw material characterization.
  • Operate and maintain high-throughput analytical workflows and robotic systems to accelerate data generation.
Data Interpretation & Insight Creation
  • Deliver large, uniform datasets ready for building correlations and actionable insights.
  • Support AI-driven fragrance design by providing structured, high-quality data.
  • Drive automation strategies to enhance efficiency and reproducibility.
  • Contribute to intellectual property development and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Present findings and interpretations to cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with perfumers, scent Parameters Managers, marketing, and consumer insights to enrich creative processes.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • M.S. in Chemistry or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years in analytical chemistry within fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or related industries.
Technical Expertise
  • Proven ability to design experiments and solve complex analytical challenges.
  • Hands‑on experience with GC/MS operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of fragrance composition, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and specialty bases.
  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, and high-throughput analytical systems.
