The Sales Leader Role

As our first Sales Leader, you will lead outbound sales and drive net‑new business development. While top‑of‑funnel marketing campaigns are underway, this role is focused on hunting, not waiting for inbound leads. You’ll prospect, follow up, and close, directly engaging with startup founders and executives.

This position requires hands‑on execution, a growth mindset, and the ability to work independently. Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken, is essential, as you’ll be selling directly to U.S.-based clients. We don’t care where you live, as long as you can connect authentically and effectively with American decision‑makers.

You’ll own your pipeline and collaborate closely with leadership and recruiters to fulfill demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead outbound sales efforts, including cold outreach, prospecting, and follow‑up
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
  • Engage with hiring managers and executives at high‑growth companies to understand their talent needs
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative client relationships
  • Work closely with recruiters to align client demand with candidate delivery
  • Track performance, manage your pipeline, and provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Contribute to shaping our go‑to‑market strategy and sales operations as we scale
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in staffing or recruitment, with tech recruitment sales preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a hunter role, consistently hitting or exceeding targets
  • Strong existing network of decision‑makers in startups, tech, or related industries
  • Deep understanding of staffing sales processes including direct hire, contract, and contract‑to‑hire
  • Skilled in outbound sales, cold calling, and pipeline management
  • Experience with CRM systems and sourcing tools
  • Professional‑level English proficiency to sell effectively to U.S.-based clients
