A fintech company is looking for a Senior Quantitative Product Researcher to lead quantitative research initiatives and drive insights to inform product decisions. Candidates should have a Master's or Ph.D. degree and at least 3 years of product research experience in digital consumer products. Position Summary

As a Quant UX Researcher on the EarnIn Product team, you will define and measure how our customers are making use of EarnIn's financial services platform.

And more importantly, help us discover important unmet financial needs Earnin might serve in the future through large‑scale conversations with those customers using tools like surveys.

In this role, you will scope and define new analysis and outcomes to inform product development.

You will directly enable hypotheses to drive product development in new areas for Earnin.

You will provide guidance for new projects by helping in identifying Quant needs along with measurement, analysis, and reporting across products.

You will set the Quant research agenda and strategic initiatives through proactive outreach and advocacy.

What You'll Do
  • Drive and lead a quantitative‑research agenda across early stage product development, drawing on your own technical expertise (e.g., quantitative analysis, logs analysis, feature experimentation and behavioral science) to help drive product decisions from data.
  • Identify, define, evaluate, and inform user value focused insights across a portfolio of products to ensure valid and meaningful measurement of user experiences.
  • Work closely with product management, UX, and engineering partners to execute on quantitative user research insights.
  • Collaborate with team members across EarnIn to adapt and develop new methods for interpreting product data.
  • Help inform product design decisions based on insights you bring to the table.
  • Demonstrate excellent statistical and scientific judgment, producing rigorous results in a fast‑paced environment and setting a high technical standard.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
  • Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Human‑Computer Interaction, Economics, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of product research experience in a digital consumer products company.
  • Experience owning and delivering quantitative research—foundational or validation‑related and driving results.
  • Experience in programming computational and statistical algorithms for large data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to take on multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
  • Ability to have excellent command of research questions and of technical tools for the analysis of data.
  • Experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R, Stata), and with SQL.
  • Experience in survey design, methodology, and analysis.
  • Qualtrics skills would be useful here.
