SailPoint is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop innovative AI applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-agent systems for internal use. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing AI-driven solutions to transform data and intelligence utilization across the business.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and services for AI/LLM applications.
• Design, develop, and deploy multi-agent Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize LLM tools and workflows for productivity and insights.
• Ensure robust monitoring, testing, and CI/CD practices across the data and AI stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering and AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience deploying LLM-powered solutions in production.
• Knowledge of agentic and RAG architectures in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, and BigQuery is a plus.
• Experience managing AI model lifecycle from experimentation to monitoring.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
