Role: RVP, Sales

The RVP, Sales will be responsible for driving exceptional sales growth across our enterprise portfolio, with a focus on the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. This executive will serve as a leader of a dynamic sales organization, managing a group of Account Executives to accelerate complex, strategic transactions within CPG and adjacent industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings, particularly within Consumer Packaged Goods markets
  • Set clear expectations and deliver accurate business forecasts with deep understanding of CPG industry cycles, seasonal patterns, and buying behaviors
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, establishing appropriate metrics for effective sales funnel management
  • Drive accountability across your team for quota attainment while consistently meeting and exceeding pipeline generation and sales goals
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key corporate teams including marketing, product development, strategic operations, product management, and talent acquisition
  • Implement and optimize our operating model, ensuring adherence to internal processes and driving adoption of our sales methodology and technology stack
  • Align and coordinate product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Stay ahead of competitive landscape, market trends, and product developments, especially within the Consumer Packaged Goods ecosystem
  • Cultivate key customer relationships with CPG executives and develop innovative strategies for expanding our customer base
  • Anticipate market changes and define new processes and programs to increase overall productivity and results
  • Leverage deep Consumer Packaged Goods industry knowledge to identify emerging opportunities and navigate complex retail and distribution environments
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive sales management experience and leadership, preferably with Consumer Packaged Goods industry exposure
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and revenue targets, ideally within CPG or retail technology sectors
  • Deep understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods industry dynamics, including supply chain management, retail partnerships, consumer analytics, and omnichannel strategies
  • Proven ability to build satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customer relationships with CPG manufacturers, brands, and retailers
  • Demonstrated success operating within highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution in complex B2B environments
  • Strong operational and analytical capabilities with ability to interpret CPG market data, consumer trends, and retail analytics
  • Extensive sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex software solutions primarily at the C‑level within Consumer Packaged Goods companies
  • Exceptional track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high‑performing sales teams
  • Established network within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and understanding of key decision‑makers and influencers
