• 5+ years of experience in a related Purchasing role.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Previous Supply Chain experience as a planner, buyer, or in a warehouse.

What will you do?

Supervise the team of buyers and work with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule; coordinate with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals; and works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production.

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the Purchasing function.

• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.

• Analyzes market and delivers conditions to determine present and future material availability.

• Supervise buyer - purchasing standard work.

• Lead Purchasing activities, and inventory management.

• Monitor PO place, expedites, have conferences with suppliers and Lean alignment.

• Interacts with Engineering and Quality departments on new products and/or revisions to existing products as well as quality parts.

• Serve as the Purchasing ethics/compliance representative.

• Supervise external and internal compliance audits.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree completed

• 5+ years of experience in a related Purchasing role.

• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position (must)

• Previous Supply Chain experience (planner, buyer/procurement, warehouse)

• Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail and Microsoft Office software.

• 2 years of experience in SAP - material master/MM (must)

• Business/conversational English is a must due to the nature of the role.
