Position : Program Nurse

Position Purpose

The Program Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in the community setting that assists patients to achieve optimum health and quality of life in situations of chronic disease.

The Nurse is responsible for the provision and management of effective nursing care to individuals and / or families in the community or in Patient Support Programs.

Works in adherence with the Policies and Procedures set by Axios International and works in accordance with established standards of nursing practices according to local and international rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Based on the agreed upon services and workflow, the Nurse provides skilled nursing services in accordance with the orders of a physician and under a plan of care.

Duties include but not limited to :

• Telephonic follow up consultation
• Education and counselling, consistent with the type / nature of treatment and / or care management need
• Supervision / health teaching and support for family and caregivers on regular basis
• Ability to assess mental status
• Attending and completing Pharmacovigilance, Pharma and Product Training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data.
• Reporting Adverse Events and follow the country rules and regulation regarding AE reporting procedure, and reporting any concerns / changes in patient health to the program and / or treating physician
• Reporting any adverse events / product complaints as per client's requirements and / or Axios SOPPs
• Familiarity with treatment equipment and ability to provide nursing assessments to patients
• Supervise the correct administration of the treatment in site
• Follow up treatment of patients enrolled in the program
• Train healthcare professionals about the correct administration of the treatment and use of diagnostic kit correctly
• Delivery and reception of documentation and materials related to the program
• Accompany the patient through the diagnosis and treatment
• Sample management if required
• Compile the necessary information in the program CRM

Educational Background and Experience

• A Nurse technician or nurse with a BS Degree
• At least 2 years working experience in a healthcare setting
• Must provide evidence of local health authority license or eligibility letter
• Excellent command of English
• Demonstrate clinical nursing knowledge and experience in providing direct patient care

Job Circumstances

• The position is based in our regional office and it does entail frequent travel to Clients and partners which may be outside your designated region.
• Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential.
• Must be certified in CPR and / or First Aid course certificate
• He / she must provide Good Standing Certificate not older than 6 months.
