Descripción del empleo

The ideal candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the site, and coordinating a team of production union employees to make sure that consistent and quality products are constantly being produced.

What will you do?

• Enforce compliance in safety, order, and cleanliness standards in the production area.
• Assign work orders to Chemical Operators.
• Verify and ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures and work instructions from the manufacturing department, related to Quality and EHS systems.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials in the production area.
• Evaluate finished product results and adjustments.
• Take verified work orders to the warehouse and request the removal of finished products from the manufacturing area.
• Assign overtime duties to each worker.
• Perform the activities required by management programs to meet Quality and EHS objectives and goals.
• Prepare internal labels for finished products to identify products.
• Verify the correct identification of measuring equipment in the manufacturing area, as well as the good condition of the equipment calibration labels.
• Onboard new staff in the area when needed.
