Job Summary
The Product Owner will serve as a key member of the Product Management team, working closely with the Head of Product to deliver innovative and user-centered solutions. This role is responsible for defining product requirements, managing backlogs, and collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. The Product Owner will be the voice of the customer, translating their needs into actionable tasks and driving the execution of the product roadmap.
Education And Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Advanced certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)).
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or related role, preferably in a SaaS or healthcare technology environment.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with healthcare operations, including utilization review, case management, or revenue cycle functions, is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of product management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence).
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and practices.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and competitive analysis strategies.

Primary Job Duties
- Product Vision: Collaborate with the Head of Product to define and maintain the product vision and roadmap.
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to collect and document product requirements.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development teams have a clear and actionable work pipeline.
- Sprint Planning: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality product features on schedule.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that solutions meet user needs and align with business goals.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track product performance using key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in product development processes and collaborate on enhancements.
