Job Description

The Item Set-Up Lead Professional owns the end-to-end creation, enrichment, maintenance and publication of online product listings across marketplaces and B2B sites while offering a strategic vision on the assortment strategy per channel. This role is responsible for the creation of the BU assortment management strategy while ensuring every SKU has complete compliant data (attributes, images, copy, taxonomy) and is optimized for discoverability and conversion (digital shelf excellence).

Core Responsibilities
  • Assortment Strategy definition: Along with regional business development stakeholders they define the most appropriate listings per channel according to their goals, purpose and characteristics.
  • Assortment Strategy follow up and implementation: They are in charge of the day‑to‑day follow up on listings per channel looking for daily improvements and generating After Action Reviews on what has worked to further optimize.
  • New‑item listing: Collect, normalize and enter product data (GTIN / UPC titles, attributes, dimensions, price, fulfillment data) into PIM / ERP / marketplace templates; choose the correct category / taxonomy and required attributes per channel.
  • Content compliance & quality: Validate listings meet each channel's content and imagery rules.
  • Digital shelf optimization: Improve PDP content (SEO keywords, bullets, descriptions, enhanced media), monitor search/displacement placement and drive continuous A/B improvements.
  • Cross‑functional coordination: Track launch calendars, gather assets from Creative/DAM, chase attribute gaps with Vendors/PMs and confirm go‑live readiness with Ops and Commercial teams as well as regional Sales Leaders for Assortment Strategy.
Do you have what it takes
  • Proven experience in eCommerce operations, merchandising, content catalog / data management or marketplace account support.
  • Experience with technology such as Salsify, Adobe Content, SEO and data governance / compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with new item setup or digital item setup.
  • Strong English writing and verbal skills.

There is no relocation budget for this role.
