The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the point-of-sale systems, ensuring seamless transactions, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Responsibilities:
  1. POS System Management:
    1. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Point of Sale systems.
    2. Ensure the reliability and functionality of POS hardware and software components.
    3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to POS systems promptly.
  2. Configuration and Customization:
    1. Customize POS configurations to align with business requirements.
    2. Implement and maintain product databases, pricing structures, and promotions within the POS system.
  3. Training and Support:
    1. Provide training to staff on POS system usage and best practices.
    2. Act as a point of contact for POS-related inquiries and provide technical support to resolve issues.
  4. Integration and Upgrades:
    1. Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to integrate POS systems with other business applications.
    2. Stay current with industry trends and technology advancements, recommending and implementing POS system upgrades as needed.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    1. Implement security measures to safeguard customer and transaction data.
    2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to POS systems.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in managing and supporting point-of-sale systems in a retail environment.
  3. Strong technical skills in POS hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  4. Familiarity with POS customization, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
