A global technology leader in Reynosa is seeking an experienced operations manager to lead plant operations, including production and quality management. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of electrical manufacturing, and must possess leadership skills to drive continuous improvement. This role requires excellent communication in English and a solid grasp of Mexican labor laws.

Formación

  • Proven experience in leadership of people and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical manufacturing and products.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially electrical/mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of 6S Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience interpreting financial reports for business decisions.
  • Knowledge of Mexican tax and labor laws.
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects.
  • Must communicate in English at a high level.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

Direct and manage all plant operations and maintain overall responsibility for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage shipping and receiving, including minimizing premium freight and repair expenses.
  • Monitor shop schedule as it relates to project site schedules.
  • Manage capital asset maintenance.
  • Maintain facilities and equipment, and monitor overtime.
  • Labor relations including interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
