Overview

Provide payroll support to ensure employees get paid on time, every time by verifying data accuracy and meeting compliance. You will apply your creativity and problem-solving techniques to resolve critical employee issues. You will utilize your payroll functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with Resideo business objectives. Join a team delivering the right and fast payroll solutions for Resideo while maintaining integrity and compliance. Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute tasks to complete data entry, data processing and payroll outputs verification on time (aligned to payroll calendar)
  • Perform regular audits (and reconciliations) of payroll and employee data
  • Administration of payroll outputs
  • Support to customers and stakeholders (employees, supervisors and other functions in Human Resources)
  • Maintain our payroll in compliance with federal regulations and obligations in Mexico and Canada countries
  • Manage our payroll vendors to ensure proper support to the payroll function
  • Provide support to the leader of the Time and Absence function ensuring the alignment between payroll and time & absence systems in accordance with local laws and company policies
  • Coordinate our relationship with the Information Systems (IT) function to ensure proper support to our needs. This will require your ability to translate business requirements into some level of technical requirements as well as your understanding of basic IT terminology
Qualifications
  • 3+ Years of experience in Mexican, US and Canada Payroll
  • Understanding of common payroll concepts and formulas
  • Basic Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local payroll legislation as well as common payroll policies and procedures to maintain Payroll under compliance with the law
  • High level of proactivity and high sense of urgency
  • Self-starter, and responsive, with a customer service approach to employee needs
  • Excel Proficiency
  • Advanced level of English written and spoken
  • Follow up project management plans and delivering high-quality customer service
  • Committed to continuous improvement and problem-solving
