A leading global financial services firm is seeking a LATAM Market Expansion Product Executive to drive payment processing solutions across Latin America. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in the payment processing industry, expertise in LATAM markets, and fluency in Spanish and English. This role combines product management with consultative sales, demanding excellent project management and relationship-building skills, ensuring successful launch and oversight of financial products in key markets.

As the LATAM Market Expansion Product Executive, you will be responsible to support the definition, evaluation and delivery of payment processing solutions across key strategic markets in Latin America, in support of J.P. Morgan's Merchant Services international expansion strategy.

Combining product management responsibility with consultative sales expertise, this role will interface with internal technology teams, external partners, clients and executives across JP Morgan.

This person will be responsible for leading work streams that are part of the program to deliver JPMC's market leading suite of merchant payment solutions to ecommerce customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding the payment acceptance landscape in LATAM and being able to translate that into comprehensive solutions for merchants
  • Understanding country‑specific market and regulatory dynamics and ensuring their product(s) are built to those requirements
  • Serving as the Merchant Services product expert to in country JP Morgan teams during sales conversations
  • Serve as the 'product owner' in an Agile development process, working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and communicate product specifications to engineering.
  • Collaborate daily with development team(s) to ensure projects are clearly defined and properly phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality.
  • Manage the launch of new products and platform technologies to internal team and stakeholders.
  • Participate as 'product expert' within the company to aid in the training of the platform operations to select sales and support staff.
  • Define product feature requirements to exceed business expectations while achieving business metric targets.
  • Contribute to payment product roadmap and strategy.
  • Execute upon defined strategies to drive enablement of local and international payments, and associated value‑added services such as fraud and risk management and collection services.
  • Act as the day to day product management point of contact for our local payments, banking, and e‑commerce partners.
  • Manage resolution of urgent technical issues while communicating changes to business stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Customer Support.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Commercialization teams on go‑to‑market and customer life cycle strategies for new features and products.
  • Manage relationships with financial institution partners including acquirers, payment processors, networks, and local banks.
  • Responsible for the end to end payment product life cycle analysis and management.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in the payment processing industry and digital commerce
  • In‑depth understanding of the LATAM payment processing and merchant acquiring industries.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of products in the region.
  • Project management skills with proven ability to oversee multiple projects.
  • Previous roles in high growth tech environment, or financial services desired.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional projects and interact at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong relationship building skills coupled with the ability to develop consensus.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a broader product team.
  • Fact paced, self‑starter, and holds a high degree of responsibility and accountability to ensure timelines are met accordingly.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
