About the team

The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multifaceted team does it all. We are a collection of creative visionaries,craftspeople, storytellers, strategists, producers, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work.

About the role

As a global, internal creative agency, we have been building a scalable content production studio of our dreams - where production design can be centralized, ad hoc creative projects can be delivered, and our tools and systems operationalized. The foundation of this team is to allow our incredibly talented creative thinkers to focus on what they do best, while ensuring that the work is delivered on time and on brand, with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.

As the Motion Graphics Designer, you are a crafty artist who thrives in the collaborative environment of an elite marketing dept. The ideal candidate will be an agile creative problem solver with the experience and interest of working in 2D and potentially some 3D production settings. You will be equally comfortable working alone within our brand's style guide as you are collaborating with creative leaders and internal clients. You will be developing graphics that are on our digital platforms, website, social channels and films & video and other marketing channels.

Please have a portfolio that shows the work you’ve been directly involved in and what your role was in those projects.

What you will do

  • Work closely with project managers and project requestors to understand the project scope and proactively ask pertinent questions when needed.

  • Work closely within our brand standard and our HQ creative team to deliver engaging motion graphics for various needs across marketing

  • Ability to take a storyboard idea and bring it to life with motion working independently throughout the process

  • Able to share and take our marketing partners and creative leads through your idea and take feedback accordingly.

  • Comfortable working quickly and precisely when deadlines get tight for large productions like Dreamforce.

What experience you have

  • BA or BFA in Marketing, Design or related field

  • A proven track record with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the creative industry, with preference given to candidates who have worked in advertising agencies or internal marketing teams.

  • A diverse portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion graphics work, including animations, for marketing, editorial, documentary, cinematic, and broadcast projects

  • We appreciate seeing examples that demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality results, even in scenarios with limited resources.

  • You possess a strong creative vision and can see it through from the initial concept to the final product, encompassing storyboards and post-production phases.

  • Comprehensive understanding of motion graphics, with expertise in tools and software, 2D/3D animation, editing, color correction, and their associated post-production workflows.

  • Academic background and/or hands-on experience mastering motion graphics and animation.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal and inter-departmental collaboration abilities.

  • Multilingual proficiency in English & Spanish

  • Proven integrity, maintaining composure and maturity in all aspects of team and client relationships, including collaboration.

  • Proficiency in various creative tools and workflow platforms, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools like Slack.
