POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Core UX Team, building high-quality mobile experiences that directly impact EarnIn’s customers. This role is ideal for an individual with a solid foundation in iOS development, a keen eye for user experience, and a desire to collaborate across mobile and product teams. While the primary focus is on iOS, we value engineers who are open to broadening their impact by learning from Android and backend peers to deliver features end-to-end.

You’ll work closely withdesigners, Android engineers, and backend partnersto deliver and maintain intuitive, scalable features. You’ll have opportunities fortechnical ownership, cross-platform collaboration,andongoing growth. We believe instrong team communication, aculture of shared learning, andsupporting each otherto achieve excellent results.

This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and evolvemobile features that support key customer-facing experiences and core workflows.
• Collaboratewith product and design partners to turn UX ideas intopolished, reliable mobile experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Swift codeusing modern frameworks.
• Participate insprint planning, code reviews,andcross-platform discussionswith iOS, Android, and backend teams.
• Collaborate with Android and backend engineers to ensure seamless cross-platform cohesion and effective backend integration.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, with a focus on minimizing end-user impact and driving continuous improvement.
• Support initiatives focused on performance tuning, accessibility, and instrumentation to enhanceUX visibility.
• Work closely with QA and productto validate features and ensure high-quality releases.
• Proactively engagein team learning, knowledge sharing, and embracing new tools and technologies.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Swiftand modern iOS development practices, including architectural patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience withdevelopment and debugging toolslike Xcode, Instruments, Crashlytics, and Git.
• Strong collaboration skillsand the ability to contribute to user-focused, cross-functional solutions.
• Solid understanding ofUX principles, mobile interaction patterns,anddesign system alignment.
• Good testing practices, includingunit and UI testingto support code quality and stability.
• Clear communication and collaboration skillsin distributed team environments.
• 3+ yearsof experience building and shipping iOS applications in production environments.
• Experience working infast-paced, iterative teamsusing Agile or similar methodologies.
• Experience withaccessibility standards, mobile analytics,orperformance optimization.
• Proactive interest in working with AI tools and on AI-driven solutions: You’ll have opportunities to use generative AI, automation, and AI-powered analytics to enhance our product and your workflow, driving innovation at EarnIn.
