Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems
  • Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency
  • Documenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groups
  • Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution
  • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillars
Qualifications
  • Have a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Have experience with 3D CAD systems
  • Awareness of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) principles
  • Be able to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations
  • Be familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methods
  • Drive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates)
  • Fluent in English, for both oral and written
