A global leader in recreational vehicles is seeking a Planning Trainee in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. This role offers an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in material planning, system accuracy, and supplier interactions. Candidates must be currently studying a relevant Bachelor's Degree and possess strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. Fluency in Spanish and advanced English are required.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Offer the opportunity to source talent that will integrate on the Material Planning Environment easier as their first formal employment. This will allow the student to acquire knowledge and experience that will help him develop his professional career.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. MRP System Accuracy
    • Accurate daily maintenance of Standard Work activities to avoid line impacts.
    • Map the different planning process to understand the key elements.
    • Ensure the demand for materials is met and deliveries, transits & receipts are made on time. Based on original MRP schedule.
    • Contribution to Planning Department KPIs: Parameters, MD06, Shipping Compliance.
    • Maintain optimum Obsolescence, Overstock, Safety stock & Parameter levels.
    • Ensure an effective communication with suppliers to address business needs.
    • Work closely with the Purchasing team in a hand-to-hand effort to fulfill production requirements.
  2. PWC and TNT Type of Impact Definition
    • Assessment of assembly complexity for all PWC BOM Materials.
    • Multidisciplinary team work.
    • Definition of type of impact for all PWC BOM Materials.

  • Planning Trainee helps by keeping the MRP system accurate, managing inventory, and working with suppliers and purchasing to keep production running smoothly.
