Formación

Job Description

  1. Monitoring and coordinating the activities of Materials Planning and procurement through MRP system and monitoring proper stock levels.
  2. Maintaining the Master data parameters with supply basis to ensure materials are available on time.
  3. Representing Lennox Commercial in negotiations and new contracts according to policies and suppliers’ guidelines.
  4. Aligning with inventory strategies such as Lot-size, demand fluctuation, and ordering costs.
  5. Developing strategies to improve and reduce material costs.
  6. Creating strategies to reduce the impact of PPVs.
  7. Ensuring departmental budgeting.
  8. Identifying market risks and adapting to rapid changes in supply basis.
  9. Searching, evaluating, and improving strategic suppliers focused on raw and indirect materials.
  10. Developing and maintaining inventory control systems to track purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
  11. Playing a key role in NPI and engineering changes (coordinated and ongoing changes).
  12. Following up on supplier care, including quality, quantity, and delivery factors.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  2. At least 8 years of related experience in sourcing and supplier development.
  3. Knowledge of concepts like purchasing for lean manufacturing, Kanban, and supplier development.
  4. Expert negotiation skills and strong analytical abilities.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with executives and in international contexts.
  6. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
  7. Proficiency in computerized procurement systems.
  8. Understanding of inventory strategies to manage turns, levels, and obsolescence.
  9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  10. Ability to provide effective work leadership.
  11. Experience with INMEX and follow-up processes.
  12. Proficiency in English.
