A leading global entertainment company seeks a Manager, Social Media in Mexico City to enhance the brand’s voice and engagement on social platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in social media management, fluency in Spanish, and a solid understanding of key platforms. Responsibilities include developing strategies and managing local activations to align with business goals, while fostering a positive online community.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media engagement for a brand, preferably in entertainment or content-related sectors.
  • Solid understanding of key social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and local influencer landscape in Mexico.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills.

How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Manager, Social Media will join the team to be a key contributor to the brand’s voice on social platforms — engaging with audiences and helping transform everyday interactions into memorable moments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in Mexico — including content, creative, communications, and customer experience — to drive visibility and engagement aligned with local business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of social content strategies tailored to the Mexican audience.
  • Adapt regional/global campaigns and lead local activations that reflect cultural trends and brand priorities.
  • Manage real-time engagement on key platforms (TikTok, Meta, YouTube) with a focus on conversation, responsiveness, and local sentiment.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive online community.
  • Track social media KPIs, such as engagement rate and follower growth, to inform optimizations.
  • Prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations focused on the Mexico market.
  • Coordinate with local teams across marketing, creative, and PR to ensure consistency and relevance in messaging.
  • Support key launches and cultural moments through social amplification.
  • Assist in identifying and collaborating with relevant local influencers or creators to extend reach and resonance.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and audience behavior specific to Mexico.
What we need from you
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media engagement for a brand, preferably in entertainment or content-related sectors.
  • Solid understanding of key social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and local influencer landscape in Mexico.
  • Experience with social listening and publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr or similar).
  • Strong coordination and project management skills
  • Existing relationships with social media platforms or creators in Mexico.
  • Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
