A global sports organization based in Mexico is seeking a Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations to support multiple revenue streams. This role involves developing sales materials, managing CRM projects, and supporting merchandise and licensing efforts. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, relevant experience in sales or management consultancy, and a passion for surfing. Enthusiasm for sports marketing and effective communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to work flexibly across projects.

Formación

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with a League, team, brand, management consultancy, or media/entertainment company.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • High level of familiarity with surfing and surf culture is a plus.

The Strategy & Operations team sits on the WSL Revenue team and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. With responsibilities across sponsorship, advertising, merchandise, licensing, ticketing, concessions, media rights and more, Strategy & Operations works hand in hand with the global sales organization as well as the Senior Leadership Team and General Managers to drive growth and operational efficiency across all WSL revenue streams.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations works across WSL revenue streams to support commercial activity, including (but not limited to):

  • Developing sponsorship and advertising sales materials, proposals and packages in collaboration with the sales team and Senior Leadership Team
  • Managing sales research, CRM and analytics projects and vendor relationships; providing prospect and sales research to support global sales efforts; leveraging available data resources to create impactful storylines
  • Supporting WSL’s merchandise business, including ecommerce operations on WSLStore.com, standing up pop-up retail executions, and
  • Supporting WSL’s licensing partnerships, servicing licensees with requests for data, resources, information and approvals
  • Managing commercial partnerships, relationships and duties as assigned across other WSL revenue streams including ticket sales, concessions, media rights, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with a League, team, brand, management consultancy or media/entertainment company
  • Experience with Shopify a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, KORE and other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and similar tools a plus
  • Experience working internationally; fluency in additional languages is a plus
  • Experience in sales or sales support a plus
  • High level of familiarity with surfing and surf culture is a plus
  • Proven ability to be a project lead for multiple projects/clients simultaneously;
  • Experience managing individuals with the ability to inspire their growth and development;
  • Client-facing experience or a project management background is a plus.

Salary Range: $70,100 - $72,000 based on relevant experience
