Objective of the position : The Daimler Trucks North America Procurement Department (TT / GN5-44) is a fast paced, high-energy team responsible for supporting the operational requirements for the entire TT / GN organization.
Work within Procurement Guidelines and Procedures to ensure the most competitive options for the company and maintain compliance.
Liaison with Managers in Portland to ensure timely closing of Purchasing requisitions into purchase orders and manage local budgets for the Central Purchasing Operations Team (CPO).
Lead, mentor and train CPO Managers and Agents.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating process and systems gaps, identifying and implementing solutions in collaboration with cross functional and external business partners in North America, Germany, and India.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college required. 8 years of experience required.
At least 2 years of group leader, supervisory or project lead.
Master's degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in a related technical, operational, or financial field preferred.
