Logistics Specialist (Production Planning) I Location

Responsibilities
- Job Objective Continually track, manage changes and optimize the execution of a production plan. Support complex production planning in a production operation, focused on attaining the required production output within specified resource constraints.
- Duties and Responsibilities Production Planning
- Continuously track, manage changes and optimize the execution of a complex production plan
- Track plan fulfillment including checks regarding material availability, production scheduling, order release, material reservation and production deadlines
- Support to execute complex production planning related exception handling and error correction especially within ERP system, initiating logistic escalation if necessary
- Identify the causes that could lead to delays of specific deliveries, find viable solutions and inform the sales schedule
- High frequent alignment with material management, production and sales planning reviewing customer orders, production capabilities and material availability
- Support the special needs for SOP and EOP products
- Assurance and maintenance of master data accuracy and performance measurements (KPIs)
- Central contact person and first level support for production planning processes in the plant, especially focused on the information flow within the ERP system
- Support to execute training measures and knowledge transfer of standardized production planning processes to the production planners and supervisors in the plant
- Measurement and monitoring to achieve production planning target KPIs in the plant and execution of countermeasures in close alignment with their supervisor
- Plan production and schedule complex production sequences, using the ERP system especially considering lead times, shipping dates, sales forecasts, customer orders as well as backorders
- Evaluation of capacity loads for complex production lines
- Involvement in optimization projects concerning production planning processes
- Support the production planner to fulfill the required tasks according to work routines
- First level support for production planners in the plant and central contact for production planning processes
- Regular analysis and, if necessary, corrections of relevant master data for production planning
Project Management
- Supporting the management of logistics projects from technical and organizational perspective including rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes
- Defining, planning, coordinating and monitoring tasks within project teams by using defined methods and systems
- Preparing and further development of concepts for improving recording, analysis, modeling, presentation and management of process-related data
- Supporting the negotiations of general logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers and customers (e.g. JIT/JIS processes, turnaround periods, packaging) in agreement with responsible departments
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Logistics Specialist (Production Planning) I Qualifications
- Educational Background: A Bachelor\'s degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in logistics field, preferably in production planning.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics, inventory systems and industry standards. SAP
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication.
- Ensure full compliance with the production plan to achieve operational goals and delivery timelines.
- Supervise the execution of the production plan, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Adjust schedules and priorities in response to changes in demand, materials availability, or operational challenges.
