Formación

The Logistics Coordinator will manage and optimize the flow of equipment, materials, and resources within our data center operations. This role ensures efficient procurement, inventory management, and coordination of logistics activities to support continuous data center operations and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of critical data center equipment.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and maintain detailed records in management systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment returns, warranties, and replacements.
  • Source and procure data center equipment, materials, and services from approved vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate delivery, receipt, and staging of new equipment installations.
  • Manage equipment decommissioning and disposal processes following environmental and security protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Previous experience in technology or data center environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms and vendor management systems.
