A leading global financial services company is seeking an experienced Location Optimisation AVP to join their Compliance Services team. This role involves supporting the execution of the Compliance Services location strategy and managing service transitions. Strong relationship management and analytical skills are essential, alongside proven experience in stakeholder support and regulatory environments. The position is based in Mexico, Veracruz, Xico, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact within the organization.

Formación

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Location Optimisation AVP.

This role has been created within the Compliance Services location optimisation team to support the execution of the Compliance Services location strategy, to assist in migrations, transitions and governance of services identified via the location optimisation project.

Compliance Services has a management team within the wider Compliance COO business area to execute against the Compliance location strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Process reviews and enhancements from a service transition and migration standpoint
  • Policy and governance to approve the migration, ensuring all necessary / regulatory steps have been completed and agreed
  • Help manage the prioritization of services and process to transition
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates on progress, risk and issues for the management team
Requirements
Knowledge
  • Good understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
  • Good knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors etc.
  • Clear and good understanding of Employee Vetting and the elements involved
  • A good understanding of the Global Businesses / Functions
Experience
  • Proven experience of supporting stakeholders and of driving forward change
  • Good analytical capability
  • Good investigative or financial crime related experience
Capabilities
  • Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
