About the Job

HireHawk is hiring a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an integral part in case preparation and management by conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, managing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. You’ll ensure cases move forward smoothly by maintaining organized legal files, coordinating deadlines, and providing consistent support. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a structured environment, values precision, and can deliver high-quality work under strict timelines.

Core Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses with accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain legal files to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Conduct legal and factual research, producing concise and well-supported findings.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials in advance of hearings.
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and schedules to prevent delays.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders to gather and clarify case details.
  • Manage document production and review during discovery.
  • Provide proactive administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of case management.
Must-Haves for the Role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and filings.
  • Proficiency with case management systems (Clio, PracticePanther, or equivalent).
  • Skilled in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Reliable high-speed wired internet (25 Mbps+) with a tested backup option.
Nice-to-Haves for the Role
  • Experience in civil litigation, personal injury, or commercial disputes.
  • Familiarity with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, Concordance).
  • Experience with client intake and fact gathering.
  • Proficiency in trial presentation software (TrialDirector, CaseMap).
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program.
