An international organization located in Mexico is seeking a Light Vehicle Driver to transport personnel, maintain vehicles, and analyze data trends. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and two years of driving experience. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with knowledge of another official United Nations language as an advantage. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to international service while ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
This position is located in the General Services Unit of the Administration Section at the Subregional Headquarters of ECLAC Mexico in Mexico City. The Light Vehicle Driver reports to the Director.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Driving training with a valid driver's license is required.
Two years of progressive experience as a driver with a safe driving record is required.
Experience in driving a variety of makes and models of vehicles, including vans and other kinds of motorised vehicles is desirable.
Knowledge of traffic laws is desirable.
Work experience with an international organization, diplomatic representation or multinational company is desirable.
One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; and Spanish is a working language of ECLAC.
For the position advertised, fluency in English is required; and fluency of Spanish is required.
Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
Knowledge of the second language (English / Spanish) will be tested unless it can be supported by a certificate from a recognised institution.
NOTE: "Advanced knowledge" equals a rating of "fluent" in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and "intermediate knowledge" equals a rating of "confident" in two of the four areas.
