About the job

Goods & Services is looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Test who will dive into challenging problems, craft solutions, and build innovative features that transform customer experience and bring efficiency to the software build and delivery process. This is a hybrid position.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with Test automation engineers and cross-functional product owners to translate acceptance criteria into technical documents, write automation scripts, and integrate them with the Test Automation framework and CI/CD pipeline.
• Lead automation projects and write automation scripts for test cases, interfacing them with the automation testing framework.
• Provide progress status updates to Project Manager and Reporting Manager.
• Work in alignment with the project schedule for yourself and the team.
• Ensure all functional requirements and business process flows are understood, tested in test, UAT environments, and adhere to the Quality Assurance process and procedures.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, technical and team leadership.
• Prior experience with Test Automation Frameworks and Adaptive AI for Test Automation.
• DevOps & Infrastructure Cloud: AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3).
• CI/CD: Source code management with Git, Azure DevOps, Elastic/Kibana, Application performance monitoring.
• Solid experience in Test Plan preparation – scenarios and test cases.
• BDD – Behavior Driven Development.
• Experience leading fast‑paced teams with end‑to‑end delivery ownership.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira and databases (Oracle or Document DB).
• Domain knowledge of the Banking or Lending industry.
