Lead Azure Infrastructure Engineer
We are looking for a Lead Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in US East. This person will be responsible for the company's Cloud infrastructure, IT Security, and automation activities, ensuring that the infrastructure supports the information systems of the company.
Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence
- Cloud
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud, planning, migrating, and managing solutions.
- Background with Active Directory Services including DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
- Experience administering Azure Services: App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ExpressRoute, Virtual machines, Virtual Networks.
- Azure Migration experience, migrating on-premises solutions to the cloud using Azure Migrate (or other) tools.
- Windows Server VDI deployment and maintenance
- Exchange Online administration
- Experience with Windows and Linux Server Systems running in Azure IaaS/PaaS environment
- Functional knowledge of Meraki Network administration
- Security
- Proficient with Azure Security Centre and Azure Monitor: Network, Application, Infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of federated identity systems (Microsoft ADFS), multi factor authentication (Azure MFA preferred), Microsoft AD Integration with Cloud Applications/Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
- SSO, SAML, PKI experience
- Automation
- Working knowledge of provisioning and managing Azure Infrastructure using automation - PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure Blueprints
- Architecting, developing, and deploying tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Experience using Terraform to perform infrastructure as code a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience supporting users in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure & Office365
- 3+ years of experience with detection and response of cyber security threats
- Ability to develop automation using Microsoft PowerShell
- Proven knowledge of networking - IP, DNS, SMTP, Backup and DR methodologies.
- Proven knowledge of Security - SAML SSO Authentication, VPN, Cloud App security, Defender ATP

- Ability to communicate well, facilitate and/or challenge decisions within or across teams leading to a collaborative outcome/plan
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Understanding of ISO***** and NIST Cyber security framework
- Understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Change, Demand and Release Management)
- Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CISSP or CISA are beneficial
- Understanding of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GDPR requirements
- MCSE and similar IT certifications
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
- Domestic and international travel may be required
- Onsite support may be required
