The Opportunity

Join Varicent’s Sales Planning team to lead the development of a fast-scaling SaaS platform that empowers global sales organizations. You’ll work on a high-impact single-page application using React, GraphQL, and a serverless AWS backend, driving features that directly support revenue growth and go-to-market execution.

The Team

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers focused on delivering a high-performing web platform. As a senior engineer, you’ll shape technical decisions, mentor others, and contribute to building scalable, cloud-native solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and development of new features using the MERN stack.
  • Build cloud-native apps with AWS Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, ECS, and GraphQL.
  • Improve system scalability, performance, and architecture.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with CI/CD and test automation.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Guide junior developers through code reviews and technical mentoring.

What You Bring

  • Strong background with microservices, cloud architecture, and serverless development (preferably AWS).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and API design (REST/GraphQL).
  • Experience in automated testing, CI/CD, and agile delivery environments.
  • Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Redux, messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis), or Docker.
  • AWS certification or equivalent hands-on expertise.
  • Background in product-focused teams or SaaS platforms.

Role Details

  • This role is open to candidates based in Argentina only.
  • Candidates will be hired by Varicent’s designated professional employer organization; future transfer to a local Varicent entity is possible with continued seniority and comparable role, responsibilities, and benefits.
  • The role requires working within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Remote work is supported, but please be prepared to adjust your schedule for EST alignment to ensure collaboration with the team.
