A leading global coatings company is seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and manage accounts in the automotive sector. The role involves customer prospecting, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with R&D for technical solutions. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in technical B2B sales within the automotive or coatings segment, and proficiency in CRM software. Descripción del empleo

As KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, you will develop and manage main accounts in the automotive sector, promoting coating solutions for Tiers. Increase profitable growth, strengthen strategic relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent technical and commercial support.

You will report to Regional Commercial Manager-Tiers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage main accounts in the automotive market.
  • Customer prospecting.
  • Identify growth opportunities through the introduction of new coatings, technologies, or processes.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms following profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Production to ensure technical solutions that meet customer specifications.
  • Coordinate product testing, process audits, and plant validations.
  • Prepare business plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Keep close track of trends in the automotive sector (sustainability, new substrates, electrification, special finishes).
  • Represent us at automotive coatings trade shows and technical forums.
Qualifications
  • Chemical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in technical B2B sales within the automotive or coatings segment. Knowledge of application processes (base coat, clear coat, electrocoat, primers) and automotive regulations.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or others).
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
