The Role

We're seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer to work directly at a client site in Mérida, Yucatán. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience building real-world business solutions while working alongside experienced professionals.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days on-site at client location in Mérida, YUC | 2 days remote

Employment Type: Contractor:Full-time | Part-Time

What You\'ll Do

• Design and build Power Apps applications to digitize manual processes and improve user experiences
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to eliminate repetitive tasks and connect business systems
• Create and manage Dataverse data models to support application requirements
• Integrate Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities into business solutions
• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and process flows
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for deployed solutions
• Stay current with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform updates and best practices

What We\'re Looking For

Required:

• Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Understanding of business process automation and workflow optimization
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and data modeling concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment
• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power Pages for web portal development
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio or AI Builder
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Power Fx, or other scripting languages
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-900)
• Experience creating technical documentation and training materials
• Previous internship or project work in software development or IT consulting
