A leading automotive company in Mexico City is seeking a financial manager with extensive knowledge of local accounting standards and strong expertise in financial statements. The candidate should have a degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Management, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience in multinational environments. This full-time role offers a chance to ensure regulatory compliance and conduct financial analysis.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years in general accounting.
• At least 2 years in multinational companies.
• Experience in Internal and/or External Audit preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze the entity's financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with CNBV regulations and MEXGAAP.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis of balance sheets and income statements.

Job Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of local accounting standards.
• Strong expertise in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and accompanying notes (local).
• General understanding of tax legislation.
• Participation in extracurricular seminars or workshops.
• Review the adequate generation of local financial information for disclosure to regulators and the general public in accordance with the minimum catalog and accounting regulations published by the CNBV or any other regulator.
• Report complete and timely financial information to regulators and the general public with the purpose of informing about the entity's financial performance.
• Manage the proper use of the entity's account catalogs and accounting guides through analysis of their reasonableness and integrity.
• Report the entity's financial information on a quarterly basis to regulators and the general public in accordance with MEXGAAP regulations.
• Consider any updates in local regulations that affect the presentation valuation or disclosure of financial information as well as any provisions that mention deliverables to various regulators.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis of the balance sheet and income statement.
• Respond to financial information requests or clarification of figures from regulators.

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Extensive knowledge of local accounting standards. Strong expertise in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and accompanying notes (local). General understanding of tax legislation. Participation in extracurricular seminars or workshops
• Knowledge of CNBV accounting regulations and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) applicable to financial entities.
• Preferably with experience in Internal and / or External Audit.
• SAP knowledge mastery of Office applicatives mastery of MEXGAAP accounting principles for financial entities.
• English TOEIC 650

Years of Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.

At least 2 years of experience working in multinational companies.

Education

Economics Accounting Finance and Management.
