Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Key Responsibilities

• Modification of systems to fix errors, improve their performance and carry out updates
• Perform validations and tests on the systems to be released
• Programming and documentation of the generated systems
• Design and coding of software systems using the analysis carried out previously to the requirements
• Software applications project leader
• Meeting with requesters to discuss the scope of system improvements
• Provide support to system users
• High sense of urgency

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or computer systems
• 3 years .NET knowledge
• 3 years Programming languages C#, VB.Net, ASP MVC Web Applications, Web API, ASP.NET
• 3 years Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (create tables, stored procedures, views, jobs)
• Engineering in computer systems or similar
• 3 years .NET knowledge
• 5 years Programming languages C#, VB.Net
• 3 years Knowledge of TSQL (stored procedures, views, jobs, SSIS)
• IDE VS 2012 or higher
• Creation of Windows Services
• Knowledge of API RESTful
• Knowledge to manage projects and SCRUM methodology
• Knowledge of WPF projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS)
• Knowledge of software systems and frameworks including Git, GitHub
