A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our Power Transformer factory in Guanajuato. You will work together with teammates of Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Quality mainly. You will ensure proper inventory management so that our books and physical inventories match, and that they are perfectly located in our different warehouses and in optimal conditions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support the Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management and Planning team with ad-hoc tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Identify and resolve open items using Alert Dashboards to maintain system accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Safeguard, control and monitor the Assets of the Transformer Factory.
Proactively suggest and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve procurement and inventory-related challenges and support business continuity.
Supervise daily inventory operations including receiving, storage, issuance, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and work with SCM and Production teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance.
3+ years of knowledge of Inventory Management and Supply Chain experience.
3+ years of experience resolving SAP purchase order issues, with strong ability to run, interpret, and handle data from SAP reports.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of service; diligent, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities optimally in a proactive manner.
Strong digital literacy with proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Word, Alteryx and Power BI.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to inventory-related issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
