A leading technology firm in Querétaro is seeking an HSE Specialist to manage health, safety, and environmental strategies. The role involves ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements, conducting training for staff, and overseeing the implementation of HSE management systems. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and over 3 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards.

Formación

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in HSE.
  • Experience with international HSE standards.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and budget control.

Responsabilidades

  • Establish the HSE planning and strategy of the site.

Job Description

Establish the HSE planning and strategy of the site. He is responsible for the implementation of controls focused on the elimination, reduction and control of Hazards and Aspects. Ensure that regulatory compliance and corporate requirements are met effectively. Advises and supports Management regarding the HSE vision of the business. In charge to execute the HSE training plan. Development, implement, maintenance and improve the HSE management system.

Job Requirements
  • Chemical Engineer / Environmental Engineer / Industrial Safety Engineer or similar.
  • Legal requirements in HSE.
  • Management System ISO14001-45001.
  • HSE Safran standards.
  • International HSE standards (BSCI, Responsible sourcing, ISO 9100, OEA-CTPAT).
  • Interpretation of rules, guidelines, laws for proper compliance.

  • Lead and ensure compliance with current legal requirements that apply to the organization. Ensures the completion of corresponding procedures with government agencies in HSE.
  • He leads and promotes the execution of improvement projects to achieve compliance with the objectives of the HSE Management System.
  • Lead and maintain the Management System in HSE and watch it keep constantly improving. Ensures its alignment with Safran HSE standards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Train brigade members and staff in general in topics related to HSE.
  • Perform preventive activities in conjunction with the Medical Service.
  • Generate sufficient and necessary training to promote culture and raise awareness and competence in HSE.
  • Lead and maintain the current results indicators regarding HSE.
  • Lead risk and impact analysis in the organization's processes. As well as participating in the investigation of accidents and incidents, the return of experience based on the analysis; and maintain documentary evidence of the inspections in the plant (deviations, material / environmental damage, etc.).
  • Based on the analysis and legal requirement to establish the necessary controls for the work environment, ergonomic conditions, Personal protective equipment.
  • Promote the organization in the implementation and maintenance of various HSE certifications / guidelines (ISO, Clean Industry, Safe Enterprise, etc.).
