The Head of Sponsors is responsible for developing and executing a sponsorship strategy that drives revenue growth, strengthens brand alliances, and elevates One Life’s commercial footprint globally. This role requires a proven track record in sports sponsorship sales, deep networks in football and related brands, and the ability to activate strategic partnerships across markets — particularly Latin America, the US, and Europe.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder, deal-maker, strategist, and storyteller, capable of articulating the commercial value of One Life’s unique format to global brands and securing long-term, high-impact sponsorship agreements.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership

Sponsor Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify, prioritize, and approach potential sponsors with tailored value propositions.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with global brands, media companies, rights holders, agencies, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct high-level pitches and presentations to senior executives.
Contract Negotiation & Activation
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize sponsorship contracts consistent with legal and One Life requirements.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure commitments are executable.
- Ensure all sponsor rights and deliverables are activated seamlessly before, during, and after events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, content, event production, and logistics teams to design sponsorship assets and activations.
- Work closely with content and media to maximize brand visibility and commercial value.
- Align sponsor packages with audience demographics and broadcast opportunities.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Track sponsorship performance against KPIs and provide regular commercial reporting.
- Use data insights to refine pitch strategies and enhance value delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 5+ years experience in sponsorship sales, commercial partnerships, or business development in sports, entertainment, or related fields.
- Proven track record of securing major sponsorship deals, ideally in football or major sporting events.
- Strong network within football federations, clubs, brands, and agencies.
- Experience presenting and negotiating at C-Suite level.
- Ability to work strategically and execute tactically across teams.
Preferred:
- Fluent Spanish + English (required). Portuguese or additional languages a plus.
- Based in the United States with existing networks in Latin America and North America.
- Familiarity with international broadcast, digital media rights, or performance marketing.
