We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of First Line Risk and Control.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a proactive risk and control culture across MSS, fostering individual accountability and transparency in risk management.
  • Lead the Business Risk Management Framework related initiatives and ensure deliverables are in line with Group and Regional Strategy and timeline.
  • Assist in overseeing MSS’s compliance over regulatory policies and Group policy requirements changes through monitoring the implementation progress and tracking the completion.
  • Assist in the delivery of continuous monitoring activities including testing, Quality Assurance and Thematic Reviews.
  • Assist in managing the risk and governance in MSS’s and preparation of the risk and product related committees.
  • Facilitate senior management in decision making through insightful and concise recommendations from risk and control management reports.
  • Connect and work with stakeholders for example, Operational Risks, Business, NFR, Global Function Control Owners and Risk Stewards to implement enhancements.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects.

  • Clearly defined first line control framework, implemented and understood across all MSS stakeholders.
  • Effective execution of control testing, ongoing monitoring, and timely reporting of results and findings.
  • Consistent adherence to regulatory and Group requirements across MSS operations.
  • Clear and timely communication to senior management on risk profile, significant incidents, and remediation progress.
  • Strong collaboration between business, operations, technology, and support functions to enhance operational resilience.

  • Competence in designing and executing control tests and documenting results.

  • Communicate and ensure the promotion of business objectives and promote an environment for achieving objectives.
