A leading automotive parts distributor is seeking a Recruitment Specialist in Monterrey, Nuevo León, to manage external recruitment processes efficiently. The role involves developing recruitment networks, conducting interviews, and maintaining applicant records. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Communications, with 3-5 years of recruitment experience. To establish external applicant recruitment sources for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly positions by developing and maintaining various recruitment networks via college relations programs, recruitment advertising, career fairs, professional organizations and referral programs. To coordinate recruitment and applicant screening for management consideration. To maintain hiring and selection records in compliance with external and internal requirements. Maintains relationships with organizational management to assure adequate staffing plan and standards are implemented.
Position Responsibilities:
Recruits external applicants in a timely and cost efficient manner; develops and implements processes necessary for effective selection, including the identification of skills, knowledge and abilities needed required for the position.
Conducts phone and personal interviews using behavior interview techniques and other state-of the art screening and selection methods to identify qualified applicant pools for targeted positions.
Maintains applicant records within applicant tracking system and conducts pre-hire evaluations, including employment references and background checks.
Participates in special projects as relate to improved applicant processing, resourcing, and reporting systems.
Audits requisitions for proper signature approval, completeness / accuracy, and compliance with policy and position control.
Position Requirements:
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Human Resources, Psychology or Communications
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Bilingual preferred but not necessary.
