A global technology company is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant who will work closely with customers to deliver solutions using ServiceNow. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and over 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar tools. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage technical delivery tasks while ensuring client satisfaction. This position is remote, operating within the CT time zone.

Formación

Job Overview

TC – Technical Consultant | Location: Remote | Full Time

The primary role of the Senior Technical Consultant is to work closely with Customers to understand and translate their business and technical requirements, propose solutions to business problems and lead the technical delivery of the chosen solution. If you have a strong and proven background in Service Management technical delivery in one or more of the following areas, we want to hear from you. Shift Schedule: CT time zone.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide creative solutions to resolve business problems via customer requirements based on the technology (ServiceNow), process gaps (ITSM/ITIL) and cultural challenges (people).
  • Lead the delivery of ServiceNow solutions with focus on ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB and ITSM, including functional design workshops and design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
  • Engage with the customer to validate requirements, balancing needs versus wants, and translate them into true business outcomes.
  • Perform hands-on technical delivery including development, testing and implementation of cost-effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Utilize technical skills such as HTML, XML, JavaScript/AJAX and integrations (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform or similar ITSM toolsets.
  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, and KPIs; strong use of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript/AJAX) and integrations with web services, SOAP, email, MID, plugins.
  • Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL and related technologies; proven leadership experience in managing small teams and projects.
  • Ability to produce technical and customer-facing documentation.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • ServiceNow products: CSM, IRM, HRSD, ITBM, ITOM, ITSM, LP, NLAP.
  • ITIL v2 or v3 Foundations; CSA; ITSM; IRM; ITOM (Discovery Implementation Specialist and CMDB); plus HRSD, ITAM, CAD, VR, ITBM as applicable.
